The licensing program for Hello Kitty is sitting pretty now that Jakks Pacific has signed on as a partner in creating a presence for the brand in the mass market via a deal with Sanrio.

First products will land on Target shelves in the fall. The products include mini figures, such as molded clip-ons, urban figures, collectible figures of Hello Kitty pairs based on the current urban vinyl figure trend, and a purse playset with small figures line.

Additional products going forward will include figures, playsets, plush toys, indoor and outdoor children’s furniture, seasonal products, interactive toys, and a number of categories related to Jakks girls’ activity brands.
