
Entertainment/restaurant chain Dave & Buster's has appointed Sean Gleason as CMO. Gleason will replace Maria Miller, who previously held the post.
Gleason will be responsible for creating marketing strategies and campaigns for Dave & Buster’s, and he will assist with product development, per the company.
The restaurant chain
introduced its latest campaign, via Merkley + Partners, in April, touting the on-premises games consumers can play. Ads depict "funs" or fun-loving versions of full-size people who love going to Dave & Buster's.
Prior to joining Dave & Buster's, Gleason served as svp of marketing and communications for Dr. Pepper Snapple Group Inc., a division of Cadbury Schweppes. He also held various marketing positions at Pizza Hut.
"Sean’s creative talent and track record of building brands by connecting core consumers is a great fit for D&B," Dave & Buster's CEO Steve King said in a statement. "Sean will be an outstanding addition to our team as we continue to ramp-up our growth."
